My intention was also to mount a 340i ESD on my 320d. But I have spoken with a BMW tuner here in Belgium with a lot of experience and who's spezialized in handmade exhausts. He told me that the BMW petrol ESD's are giving more backpressure than the diesel ESD's. This results in loss of power and after a while the chance that the turbo and/or the DPF will break.
Now I'm going for a custom made inox ESD with less backpressure.
